Rack Electroplating
Rack electroplating is a precision coating technique where components are mounted on racks alongside zinc anodes and submerged in an electrolytic solution. This delivers uniform zinc deposition for excellent corrosion resistance and finish on complex shapes and larger components up to 3 m. We mainly offer trivalent blue passivations, with yellow trivalent passivations on request, plus specialised top coats that extend service life to over 1 000 salt-spray hours.

Our rack line runs a cyanide-free acid zinc system on an automated, state-of-the-art plant. Carefully managed chemistry limits impurity deposits to deliver a pure zinc layer on the substrate, verified through in-house and third-party labs. A zero-discharge process and world-class fume extraction (wet scrubber with 45 000 m³/h extraction) keep operations clean and compliant.
Barrel Electroplating
Barrel electroplating is an efficient method for fasteners and smaller components. Parts tumble in a rotating barrel filled with our cyanide-free acid zinc electrolyte, ensuring even zinc coverage on every surface. We run 80 kg batches at a time, with the same trivalent blue passivation (yellow on request) and optional top coats for over 1 000 salt-spray hours of corrosion protection.
